Thanks to a federal biofuels incentive fund, NorAmera Bio Energy in Weyburn is getting some federal funding.

NorAmera will get up to over $13.7 million over the next seven years through the government's Ecoenergy for Biofuels Program.

It's a program designed to help stabilize the Canadian renewable fuel industry.

So far, 23 companies have signed contribution agreements to the program.

NorAmera President Brad Hill says support from the federal government is essential for the long term development of the industry.

NorAmera produces around 24.5 million litres of Ethanol per year.
