Don't be surprised if you see a bunch of girls, dressed in blue, walking door to door. The Girl Guides have launched another cookie campaign!

"We have our fall cookie campaign, which is the mint cookies, going on right now," said District Commissioner for Rainbow District (Weyburn and Area) Abby Kradovill. "Everyone loves the mint cookies."

Along with the mint cookies, she noted that there will also be a few boxes of the classic vanilla and chocolate sandwiches.

The cookies are $5 for a box or a case of 12 for $60 and are crucial for the Girl Guides program.

"This is our main fundraiser for Girl Guides and it really is so much more than just cookies," said Kradovill. "The girls are about goal setting and planning and financial management, customer service, public speaking, those kind of life and business skills."

The funds raised from the cookies go towards camps, programming and a variety of project throughout the year.

The girls are going door to door over the next little while and will also be set up at Co-Op on October 14th. You can also reach out to any of the leaders on Facebook.
