Souris-Moose Mountain Member of Parliament Ed Komarnicki was in the constituency this week as the House of Commons was on a break.

He took the opportunity to get in touch with constituents and find out what issues are affecting them. One of the main topics that he heard about was the Temporary Foreign Workers Program. It has been a topic that has dominated coffee row in the Weyburn area, and across the nation.

While in the constituency Komarnicki also took the opportunity to hold a passport clinic, to help explain the process.

The House returns on Monday, and has four more weeks of sitting before breaking for summer recess. The government has a lot of legislation they want to put through before then. Some of the bills they are looking at include the Victims Rights Bill, changes to the Citizenship Act, and the Public Service Employment Act.

They will also be presenting their reforms to the Temporary Foreign Worker program before the summer recess.
