For those who love a used book sale, the Weyburn Public Library will be holding one at the end of next week.

"The book sale is happening on April 28th to the 30th, during regular open hours, so that's 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and we are closing a little bit earlier on Saturday, just because we need to clean everything up," explained Branch Manager Katherine Wagner.

Donations of books and other media will be accepted up until the first day of the sale, but they ask that nobody donate text books, as they do not sell.

Wagner said they rely on the fundraiser, which takes place twice a year.

"It's our board who does most of the volunteering to run everything, but we also have volunteers from the community come in and we really appreciate their help a lot," she noted.

"This is our second one since COVID," Wagner added. "We had one last fall, and we had way more donations than we usually do and we we sold a lot more than we would usually do as well."

"We rely on the funding from this fundraiser, so we appreciate everyone who comes or donates books."
