The Detour's Brews and Cues Pool League in Weyburn raised $1500 this past weekend for the Weyburn Humane Society. The fundraiser was in memory of Randy Ferguson.
Ferguson was a member of Detour's Brews and Cues Pool League and he loved playing pool with his pool league family or at home with his friends. He passed away December 16th, 2020 in Weyburn.
Sheryl Lohse started the league at Detours in 2007 and it has been running for 16 years. There were nine teams this year, and the league started in September and went until mid-March.
Smokin 8's Lohse's team won 1st place for the season and Mike Emisch won the Brian Dahl Sportsmanlike Award this season. Dahl is a previous member of the league who passed away on February 26th, 2017.
