The Midale Oilmen's annual golf tournament is set to return to Mainprize Regional Park on Friday, July 21st. Registration is now open for teams of two, with at least one member of each team required to work in the oilfield industry.

Entry fees are $150 per person, which includes supper and a golf cart for the team. The tournament will feature several prizes for games such as Putting and Chipping challenges, along with Supper and a Horse Race for the top 5 teams to follow. Rules of play during the tournament are set to 18 holes of "Two-Person Scramble" (AKA, Best Ball Played), and a shotgun start at 10:30am.

Funds raised from this event will be used in community funding programs through the Midale Oilmen's Association. They have previously made donations to the Midale School, Midale Rink, and Mainprize Regional Park, and will continue to fund various facilities, programs, and events for children and families in the Midale area.

Darren Moldenhauer, President of the Midale Oilmen's Association, shared that they currently have a few sponsorships for prizes in the works, but are welcoming additional support from local businesses. If you would like to donate a prize for the tournament or provide a sponsorship, he asks that you reach out to the Oilmen's Association to make those arrangements.

Registration is open from 8:30am - 10:15am on July 21st, but it is highly recommended to pre-register due to the 100 Golfer Limit. To pre-register a two-person team for the tournament, please contact Darren Moldenhauer at (306) 458-7838
