As the festive season approaches, it's time to prepare for Santa's imminent arrival! Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 18, as the Midale Plus One Club Inc. gears up for its much-anticipated annual Santa Parade, where slots for participation are rapidly being reserved.
Lois Feaver the Midale Recreational Director shares the holiday news, “We already have 15 floats registered, our local Credit Union to our Public Library, to restaurants, and different things like that. And we also have quite a few different clubs who are joining as well. So, we're really excited about that. The lineup starts at 10 AM and then we pretty much kick off the parade right at 11 a.m.”
After the parade, Feaver encourages the spectators to continue the festivities by going to the Midale Henry O. Memorial Arena and Civic Centre to get pictures with Santa Clause and Mrs. Clause as well as grab some hot chocolate and lunch. Added to the excitement are raffle draws and gifts.
