The Midget Barber Motors Silverado Wings took to the road Thursday night, as they travelled to Carnduff for a matchup against the Red Devils. The Wings came into the game looking for their second win of the season, while Carnduff entered the game four points back of Radville for first in the MMMHL.

A hat-trick from Kaden Paton would be a key factor for the Red Devils, as they came back from an early deficit to win 5-3.

The Wings jumped out to the lead in the first period. Trey Sandiford scored an unassisted goal with 1:32 remaining in the opening frame. The Wings then extended the lead to 2-0 as Austin Yeik scored at the 7:27 mark of the second period.

Then, the Red Devils took over, as Paton scored his first of the game just 53 seconds into the third period. Carnduff would tie the game just past the halfway mark of the period as Dawson Greenshields put the puck past Owen Peterson. The Red Devils took the lead with 6:27 left in the third when Alexander Kerr scored.

Now with the lead, Carnduff kept up the pressure. Paton would score two more goals in the span of 25 seconds, the first coming with 2:05 remaining in regulation.

Weyburn would add one more goal with 20 seconds left in the game. Tyler Domes found the twine, assisted by Chase Wilson.

The Wings are now off for the Christmas break. They will be back in action on January 7th, when they travel to Radville to take on the Nationals.
