Canada Border Services Agency officers made a second significant seizure at the North Portal port of entry last week. It comes on the heels of a seizure on August 8th.

Officers, during a secondary inspection of a travellers pick-up truck and trailer, uncovered five guns as well as 23 overcapacity magazines and three prohibited knives.

As a result of the seizure, a U.S. resident pleaded guilty to charges of failing to report imported goods. He is scheduled to be sentenced on August 26th.
