You know how much we love concert announcements and last night the Weyburn Concert Series gave us not one but SEVEN announcements when they officially announced next season's shows.

"We're absolutely stoked over this," said Linda Aitken of the Weyburn Concert Series. "We are currently in a good season but this next season is every bit as good."

With two more concerts left in the current season, next year's show's won't begin until September 26th when The New Jersey Jukebox-A Tribute to Jersey Boys, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons will take to the stage at the Cugnet Centre. Following that show, the season will see Jeffery Straker and Friends (Featuring Jack Semple and Annette Campagne), Earle & Coffin, meagan&amy (Meagan Milatz and Amy Hillis), Chris Funk The Wonderist, Tenille Arts and American Woman-Celebrating the Music of the Guess Who.

"That's the overview of our year and it's a great one," said Aitken.

Season tickets officially went on sale at last night's show and are currently available at early bird prices.

"Early bird adult season tickets would be $125," said Aitken. "We have seven concerts in the new season. So seven concerts for a mere $125. If you break that down it becomes $17.86 that you are paying per concert."

Early bird pricing is in affect until May 31st and single tickets for all concerts will be available on June 3rd.
