Saskatchewan is called the Land of the Living Skies for a reason, from the sunrises and sunsets, to the spectacular northern lights.

People from around the province, including in the southeast, enjoyed the aurora borealis show late last night and early this morning.

According to auroraforecast.com the auroral borealis activity is currently extreme, and will be visible directly overhead in most northern communities this evening.
