The Weyburn Combined Traffic Services Unit, comprised of members of the Weyburn Police Service, and the Weyburn detachment of the RCMP, were busy on Sunday. With the temperatures rising, they noticed the speeds on highways in the area were as well.
The Weyburn Police Service used their Twitter account to highlight some of the notable speeds. They included a driver going 138 km/h on the highway near Weyburn. Another driver was clocked at 70 km/h in the school zone near Weyburn Comprehensive School.
