All of the lights are back on in southeast Saskatchewan.

Late Thursday, SaskPower announced that all of the power had been restored in the area, which saw substantial damage to the power infrastructure thanks to the winter storm that hit the area last weekend. With the power restored, crews called in from other parts of the province have returned home, and salvage operations are now underway.

The Crown power company added that there may be some short, planned outages in the coming days. These will be due to crews making some needed repairs thanks to the damage.

SaskPower thanked their customers for their patience, and for the warmth and support from people in the region while they were working to get the lights back on.
