With the warmer weather we have been experiencing this winter, and the forecast causing the freeze/thaw situation on our roads, the R.M. of Weyburn has issued a reminder to the public to refrain from hauling heavy loads or, at minimum, haul only if temperatures are below zero and the roads are frozen.

"We ask that you please use your best judgment so the R.M. can avoid implementing road restrictions," said Reeve Norm McFadden. "Roads will be monitored over the coming days and if this is abused, Council will have no choice but to implement road bans on short notice."

We have recently started an email notification. Please contact the R.M. office at (306) 842-2314 if you would like to be added to their notification listing.
