Masking in indoor public spaces is no longer mandatory, including in all City of Weyburn facilities. This comes as the remaining public health orders were dropped this morning.

The last time Saskatchewan was hoping to end mandatory indoor masking was on July 11, 2021, when the province entered phase three of its reopening plan.

The lifting of restrictions includes the requirement to self-isolate when testing positive for COVID-19.

Also, starting today at 8:00 a.m., long-term care homes will start to move to open family presence, meaning there will be no limits to the number of people that can visit at a time.

Saskatchewan residents are being encouraged to continue wearing a mask if needed.
