Numerous community organizations and local businesses have united to support Isaiah Evans in obtaining a wheelchair-accessible van valued at $100,000. So far, their fundraising efforts have successfully gathered approximately $75,000, but an estimated $25,000 is required to reach the target. Next up is a movie night hosted by the Weyburn Agriculture Society.

Agriculture Education Safety Director, Stacy Kosior shares the details.

“We have one more movie night for the year before they put the ice in at the Curling Rink Exhibition Hall. So, we decided to host a movie night for Isaiah Evans and help him purchase the van that he needs to get back and forth to his farm safely.”

The feature film of the night will be Spiderman – Across the Spiderverse, and to celebrate with Isaiah and his love for his favorite superhero, Spiderman, all attendees are encouraged to dress up in their favourite superhero costumes!

Adding to the excitement will be the silent auction items on which the attendees are welcome to bid.

The doors will open at 6:45 p.m., and the movie will kick off at 7:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 30th. The entry fee is by donation. Chairs will be available; however, attendees are welcome to bring their own if they prefer. Additionally, cash concession will also be on-site.
