Telemiracle 46 is underway in Regina and will be continuing right through until 5:00 p.m. tonight.

The annual telethon, which raises money for the Kinsmen Foundation, is getting closer to how it has been held in past years. After changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the telethon will have performers live on stage, as well as the phone banks that the event has become known for.

The money raised during the 20-hour event goes towards the Kinsmen Foundation, providing people with specialized mobility and medical equipment, as well as financial assistance for Saskatchewan residents who need to travel for medical care.

In just the first three hours of the telethon, over $1.2 million had been raised.
