28 students at the Weyburn Comprehensive School recently started their own business called Soup 'R Snacks with the Comp's Junior Achievement program.

The students received hands on experience with setting up their business' social media pages, purchasing ingredients, putting together the pre-made soup mixes and snack mix, and then selling their products.

The students have been selling 3 different pre-made soup mixes (Hearty Chicken Noodle, Creamy Potato Bacon & Hearty Tomato) as well as a sweet and salty snack mix.

10% of all Soup 'R Snacks' profits are going to the Canadian Mental Health Association.

And the $500 from their YouthBiz winnings are going towards helping Cooper Walbaum. Walbaum was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. It is a cancer of the blood cells and can progress rapidly if not caught early.

Today is their last day for sales! For more information or to make your final purchases visit their official website.
