4:25 p.m.: Moose Jaw Police and Moose Jaw RCMP have located Khaled Al-Nadi and have taken him into custody.

Police located him at a residence in Moose Jaw after an arrest warrent was issued for Al-Nadi as a suspect of an armed robbery in Assiniboia on Jan. 9.

He is to appear in Assiniboia Provincial Court on Thursday.


2 p.m.: RCMP are looking for another suspect in relation to an armed robbery in Assiniboia last month.

Al-Nadi has been charged with a number of offences including armed robbery, trafficking of cocaine and possession of a dangerous weapon and an arrest warrant has been issued.

This stems from a traffic stop conducted by Assiniboia RCMP on Friday.

Police found amounts of cocaine and marijuana, as well as a prohibited weapon, in a vehicle being driven by a 20-year-old man, Devon Kinchen of Limerick, Sask.

Kinchen was charged with a number of offences including possession of cocaine for purpose of trafficking, possession of a dangerous weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition.

During the traffic stop, evidence was found in connection with the Jan. 9 armed robbery in Assiniboia.

With the evidence, police laid charges against two men, 19-year-old Billy Klassen of Lafleche, Sask., and Al-Nadi.

Both Kinchen and Klassen appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Monday and were remanded to Assiniboia Provincial Court this Thursday.
