Wawota Heritage Days, which is usually a two-day event held over the August long weekend, will be a one-day event this year on Saturday, August 20, 2022.

There are many activities taking place throughout the day, such as a pancake breakfast, a parade, food courts, petting zoos, bouncy castles for kids, a pie contest, the Wawota Youth Jackpot Gymkhana, a local talent show throughout the day, a roast beef supper, and cabaret.

“There's so much going on, there’s stuff for everybody of every age,” said Julie Cuddington, with the Heritage Days Committee. “There's live entertainment. Come down, just bring your lawn chair and have a good time.”

She added they still have a few time slots open for the entertainment stage.

“If you are somebody that likes to perform, you're a magician, a dancer, a singer, or something like that, and want to get your name out there you can give me a call and we'll go from there.”

Cuddington can be contacted at 306-577-8368.
