It will take one more day to find out who will represent the Eastern Division in the WCBL finals. The Swift Current 57s forced a decisive game three after doubling up the Regina Red Sox 4-2 Tuesday night.

The 57s were lead by left fielder John Sechen, who had a two-run RBI single in the third inning which scored what would prove to be the game-winning run. Tanner Holen and Jack Large also had RBI’s in the victory.

After putting up the lead, the 57s then provided defensive support for their starting pitcher, Zachary Patterson. He went 7 ⅓ innings to record the win, striking out six while allowing two runs on three hits. Garrett Alexander then picked up the save with 1 ⅔ innings of work.

Game three of the series will be played Wednesday night in Regina. The winner of the series will then open the league finals against the Okotoks Dawgs in Okotoks Thursday.
