Weyburn City Council will meet Monday night for their first meeting of the month of March, and councillors will be ready to dive into the agenda.

Council will receive their regular reports, including the police commission, the water treatment plant, and the fire department. An update on the construction of the WRCC will also be provided by the director of leisure services, Andrew Crowe.

One topic which will likely make a splash will be the review of the utility rates. Council will discuss, and vote, on changes to the fees charged for water service in Weyburn, as well as customers in North Weyburn and who receive service through the Weyburn Utility Board.

We will have full coverage of the meeting for you starting tomorrow morning, on-air and online.
