The 109th annual Weyburn Exhibition Fair just wrapped up on wednesday.

Although there were a few minor hiccups, the outstanding staff from the Weyburn Agricultural Society ensured that the event proceeded with both fun and safety.

Throughout the three days they had a number of attractions for people of all ages to enjoy. Some of the most popular ones were the demolition derby, lawn mower races, chuckwagons, chariots and mounted shooters.

For kids there was a play zone, petting zoo, bouncy houses, zorb balls, lazer tag and a tractor pull.

The first day of the fair saw record breaking temperatures making this year's water vendor a pleasant necessity. There were also a number of other vendors and exhibits located in the cool temperatures of the curling rink.

On the final day of the fair they had their annual 4H calf sale where they raised funds for the local 4H children.

"At the 4H awards ceremony we had on Wednesday we honoured the Lackey family," said Jeff Clay, President of the Weyburn Agricultural Society. "Herman and Kevin Lackey auctioneered here for decadeds and decades."
