UPDATE: Tickets are sold out.

-----

Tickets are now on sale for the Weyburn Fire Brigade’s 10th Annual Ladies Night Out.

The event takes place at the Weyburn Legion on May 14, starting with cocktails at 6:00 p.m., supper at 7:00 p.m., and entertainment at 8:30 p.m.

“Our entertainment will be hypnotist Andrew Kinakin, and afterward there will be a DJ to dance the night away,” said Mike Hudson, a paid-on-call firefighter with the Fire Brigade. “This Ladies Night came to be a few years before I joined the brigade, but every year we take the funds and it goes towards training and just upgrading equipment, just the little things that we need for the fire department, and it's always a lot of fun.”

He added that the biggest part of the night is the firefighter's dance.

“So, all the volunteers they get together, they work really hard and they put on a fun dance for the ladies and the crowd goes wild.”

Last year the Fire Brigade had to hold a modified version of the Ladies Night Out due to COVID-19 restrictions.

“We backed the tables off and we just did everything by code.”

Tickets are on sale for $400 for a table of eight or $50 for one person. Those wanting to purchase a ticket can call or text 306-861-0932.
