Friday, police received a tip a suspect was driving a stolen vehicle from Saskatoon.

Police say the vehicle was recovered and a 37 year old man is facing theft charges.

Also on Friday night, police received a complaint about a possible drunk driver coming into Weyburn on Highway 39.

Police were able to locate the suspect and stop him.

Police say a shotgun was found between the drivers seat and the console with shells beside the gun on the passenger seat.

Police charged the suspect with impaired driving and unsafe storage of a firearm.

Saturday, police responded to an accident in front of the 7-11.

Police say a 19 year old man side swiped a power pole and then a light stand.

Police say the man was trying to leave the scene when they arrived.

The man is facing impaired driving and dangerous driving charges.
