The Weyburn Police Service is looking for the public’s help after a rash of incidents last week.

Last Monday, police received multiple calls concerning similar, and possibly connected, events. They reported the calls were concerning vandalism to vehicles. This included windows being smashed, and tires being slashed.

Police are asking anyone with information concerning this matter to contact them. As well, they encourage residents to contact the police if they notice suspicious activities or people.

The calls last week were among the 76 calls for service received by the WPS. Of those calls, there were 12 charges laid. Six of the charges were under the Criminal Code, with five under the Traffic Safety Act and one under the Tobacco Tax Act.
