Six passes to Saskatchewan Regional Parks are now available at the Weyburn Public Library to borrow for up to one week.

That's right, as long as you have a valid library card, passes can be checked out for a maximum of seven days with no option for holds or renewal, and only one per house hold.

If you like getting out of town, but don't have the budget to purchase admission or a seasonal pass, this is your chance to explore the beautiful Regional Parks in our province.

While you have to pay for your own camping and activity fees within each Regional Park, the park passes get you in the gate as many times as you want while it's yours.

There is one very important caveat, however: if you return the pass late, your library account will freeze and you will be billed $50 - the actual cost of a seasonal pass.

Those who borrow the passes must display the hang tag facing out, on their rearview mirror.

Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be returned to the library from which they were borrowed.

If you are unsure of the availability of a pass, you can't place holds but you are welcome to call the library before visiting, to ensure they have a pass available.
