Tomorrow marks one of the most important days of the year. No, we aren't talking about the Provincial budget (although that's pretty huge too).

Tomorrow is the Spring Equinox. Yep, the first day of spring!

It's been a long and cold winter in Southeast Saskatchewan and there is no doubt that people are looking forward to being able to say "It's spring!".

But it generally isn't the day on the calendar that marks the first day of spring. Let's face it, the weather almost never co-operates with the calendar and we have seen major snowstorms on what is supposedly the first day of spring.

So, most Saskatchewan residents have their own "thing" that marks the beginning of spring. That's what we are chatting about today! What marks the beginning of spring for you? My kids have been jumping in every puddle they can find so, as far as they are concerned, you bet it's spring.

For me, it's being able to buy both Vanilla Coke and Wild Cherry Pepsi for the "adult" puddling jumping (that's puddling jumping in a car, in case you are wondering).

Everybody has that one thing where they breathe a sigh of relief and go "ok, spring is here". What's yours?
