The rosters for the hockey teams for Team Southeast at the upcoming Saskatchewan Winter Games were released Tuesday morning. In total, there will be nine athletes from Weyburn and area on the hockey teams.

The female team, which is comprised of bantam-aged players born in 2003 and 2004, has four from the Weyburn area on the roster.

Kira Barham and Sydney Pedersen both cracked the lineup along the blue line. Up front, Dakota Bowler and Dalis Prawdzik will skate as forwards.

There are five players from Weyburn who made the male team. In goal, Dylan Ernst was given the nod. In front of him will be defensemen Levi Krienke and Dallen Oxelgren. Andrew Altwasser and Ty Boren will be playing as forwards on the team.

The Saskatchewan Winter Games will be played in North Battleford from February 18th to 24th. The games will feature athletes from across the province competing in a number of sports, including hockey.
