The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings signed a pair of defencemen yesterday, and both are from south of the border.

The Red Wings have added 18-year-old blueliner Connor Healy. The 6'2 defenceman recorded 34 points in 18 games last season playing high school hockey in Wisconsin.

Meanwhile, the Red Wings have also added 19-year-old defenceman Jacob Jakusz also from the U.S. The 19 year old blueliner, who also stands 6'2, recorded 38 points in 32 games last season playing Junior in Wisconsin.

Also yesterday, the Red Wings announced they have traded 19-year-old Goaltender Rylan Labrie to the Dauphin Kings of the MJHL in exchange for a player development fee.

Earlier this week, the Wings announced the signing of 17-year-old goaltender Dazza Mitchell from the Regina Pat Canadians.
