Ringing in the new year with a blast.

The Goodwater Oil Kings Rec Hockey Team are hosting a New Year's Eve Cabaret in Weyburn.

The cabaret will be at the Tom Zandee Sports Arena with music from the band "Shifty Morgan".

Team member Peter Thackery says this is going to be a fundraiser for the hockey club.

Doors open at 8:00.

Tickets for the cabaret are available at Zippy Mart and Studio 7 Hair Salon in the City Centre Mall.

Tickets are $20 each and you must be at least 19 years of age to attend.
