A rainy afternoon certainly didn't put a damper on today's celebrations for the Credit Union Street Fair.  The community saw a different take on the annual event as it was moved inside to the Weyburn Curling Club, but it was just as successful as it has been in previous years!  This year's street fair was an extra special one, as the Credit Union celebrated their 75th birthday.

One way the Credit Union gave back to their community today was by generously donating over $85,000 to various local organizations.

Harvest Pie Company also played a big part in this great event. Ron Fellner was the winner of the pie-in-the-face contest and was "pied" by Andrea Brady.  There was also a pie eating contest with Jeff Richards being crowned the winner and receiving a giftcard for the Harvest Pie Company!  They also sold slices of their delicious pies to attendees.

More great things to check out at this event were an awesome supper menu, great food vendors, live entertainment by Wonderland, and lots of fun activities for kids in the curling rink lobby.

Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate, and happy 75th birthday, Credit Union!
