The 18U AA Beavers were in Balgonie Saturday, taking on the White Butte Broncos in a double header. The Beavers would come out swinging, and won both games quite handily to improve to 20-3 on the season. 

In the first game of the day, Ben Manning had a solo home run in the fourth inning and drove in one other run. The other RBIs of the day came courtesy of Wyatt Godlonton, who had two, Sam Mallory, who had two as well, Ryker Watt, Josh Kalman and Noah Kopec.  

The game, which was called after five innings due to the mercy rule, saw Keaton Husband go the distance. He would strike out seven while allowing one run on seven hits.  

In the second game, the hot bats for the Beavers continued their work as the Beavers went on to a 16-5 victory. 

Sam Mallory led the way, hitting two doubles and a triple while driving in three runs. Ryker Watt had two doubles and brought home two runs, with Ben Manning chipping in three RBIs and a double. Wyatt Godlonton had two RBIs and a double, while Dallen Oxelgren also drive in a run.  

On the mound, Mallory would pitch the first 4 2/3 innings, striking out seven and allowing five runs on six hits. Oxelgren finished the game off, striking out three and allowing just two hits in 2 1/3 innings.  

The 18U AA Beavers close out the regular season Thursday in Regina against the Pacers, with playoffs starting after that.
