Hockey season is right around the corner, and local linesperson Alex Clarke is anticipating a bit more travel than last year, with more American League and Western League games.

“I'll be working all the same leagues that I worked last year, from the American League down, the WHL, down through the SJHL, and some of the minor hockey leagues all throughout Saskatchewan.”

As far as international games are concerned, Clarke is unsure how the season is shaping up for her but will find out in October.

“I would love to get another international tournament this season,” Clarke said. “I worked for the Olympics last year and hopefully I'll work either a women’s top-level, or a U18 top-level international event for the upcoming season.”

She also hopes to officiate for a few professional women’s league games, whether it’s the PHF or PWHPA.
