Life Centre Church has a new pastor leading the congregation. Pastor Matthew Erickson and his family will be moving to Weyburn once their house sells in Yorkton, however, Pastor Erickson is no stranger to Weyburn. 

“I'm actually from Weyburn when I was a kid and teenager, so I've got family there,” said Pastor Erickson. “We moved there in 1995 when I was in grade 4.” 

Pastor Erickson shared that as a child he went to Assiniboia Park Elementary School.  

“It'll be the one my kids go to, our daughter's the only one in school now, but she's in French immersion here in Yorkton and she loves it. So, we were so excited to hear that they offer it there, and she thinks it's pretty cool that she'll go to dad's school,” continued Pastor Erickson. 

Pastor Erickson and his wife Chantelle have three children, he will continue to commute from Yorkton until their family home sells.
