Fuel Good Day was a big success for Prairie Sky Co-op this year, as $4,742 was raised for three community organizations.

“I think everybody did a great job coming out and supporting us and those three community groups,” Member Relations Manager, Danielle Knoll said. "We sold over 2,000 more litres this year than we did last year. So that's great.”

This year the money is going to the Weyburn Theatre Community Service Co-operative, Friends of the Yellow Grass Library, and Doctor Brown Fundraising Committee.

Last year the fundraiser brought in $4,500 for the Weyburn Agriculture Society, Town of Milestone, and Lake Alma Rec Board.

Knoll said things went quite well this year.

“It was kind of a windy day, but everybody came down and it was good to see people interacting with the theater group that was selling popcorn at Sud City.”

Knoll added she is thankful to everyone who came to Co-op for Fuel Good Day.
