Wes Cates and Luc Mullinder were in attendance for the Weyburn Rider Nation Round Up at the Weyburn Comp Track. Over 2,000 fans of the green and white took in the evening's events. Cates says, "it was unbelievable. I didn't expect this big of a turn out and to see this many people from one town and have a good time is awesome."

Mullinder, a Toronto native, says he loves playing in Saskatchewan. "Just makes everything so much easier, you are -playing for a purpose every time you hit the field. It's really great playing in front of you guys and just knowing you care so much, makes every win that much better and every loss that much more hurtful because you know we let down an entire province and nation of people."

Cates and Mullinder are getting ready for training camp with the Riders opening up the pre season on June 13th when they host B.C. at Mosaic Stadium.
