The Pee Wee AA Young Fellow Wings had a rough weekend, as they ran into tough opposition in a pair of road games.

Saturday, the Wings travelled to Carlyle for a game against the Estevan Pee Wee Bruins. The Bruins would come away with the victory, though, winning 5-2.

Estevan scored the first goal of the game in the first period, but Weyburn worked to tie things up in the second period. Owen Istace scored an unassisted goal 6:15 into the middle period. Estevan would reply shortly afterwards to regain the lead, but Weyburn wasn’t about to go quietly, as they would again tie things up before the period was out, with Cruz Klapak scoring with 4:13 left in the second. Noah Kopec assisted on the goal.

In the third, the Bruins took over the game, as they scored three unanswered goals to pick up the victory.

Sunday, the Wings were again on the road, this time heading up to Melville to take on the Pee Wee Millionaires. Melville would prove to be a tough opponent for the day, as they shutout the Wings 4-0.

Weyburn will be back in Melville for a rematch on Saturday.
