The Southeast College summer camps for kids have been a hit in the past for both parents and kids. The College is excited to welcome them back. “We started our camps a few years ago, unfortunately, had to take a few summers off; but we are back with a bang this summer. We are excited to be running our camps in Weyburn, Estevan, Moosomin, and Whitewood this year,” says Sheena Onrait Manager, Marketing and Communications with Southeast College.

Summer camps are a great opportunity for families to have kids learn new skills and try new activities during daytime hours when parents are typically working. “Camps are targeted toward kids ages 6 years old to 10 years old. They are day camps, so parents or caregivers can drop them off in the morning and pick them up later in the afternoon. At our Weyburn campus, we have four different camp weeks to choose from. There are arts and crafts, dynamic designs, sports, and people from your neighborhood. Lots of different programming and nothing is the same, either any day or each week,” shares Onrait.

Camps in all four locations begin next month and fill up quickly explains Onrait, “The Weyburn camps start the week of July 11th and run right through to August 5th. We take registrations right up until the camps, so there is no specific deadline. Registration is open now and they have been super popular, so I would say if you are considering registering, I would get that registration sooner than later.”
