Looking ahead to 2024, the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce will begin with strategic planning.

"This is just going to help set our goals and focus for the next three years," said Executive Director Monica Osborn.

"This year, for our AGM, of course we do our recap of how 2023 went, but we will be presenting the Golden Spike Award this year as well, so we're looking forward to seeing the nominations come forward."

The AGM will be held on March 27th, with nomination entries due by March 8th.

As for their members, she said they want to engage with and listen to what their members' needs are, advocating for them on a municipal, provincial, and federal level to ensure our economy stays strong.

"We want to encourage them to reach out to the Chamber office, let us know of the challenges you're facing. Or your successes, we want to highlight those as well," Osborn invited. "We just want to take that information and try to find a solution. The Chamber is really in the solutions business."
