The Weyburn Fire Brigade's annual Ladies Night Is coming up this Saturday, May 27th at McKenna Hall.

Firefighter and event committee member Katelyn Gateman said if you didn't happen to get a table or even a single ticket to the big event, there is still a chance you could.

While the event happened to sell out within the first 24 hours, sometimes life doesn't go as planned.

"We do have one table that just became available kind of last minute just yesterday," she said. "So there is actually one table that's currently up for grabs. So the number to call or text if you want the one remaining table is 306-861-0932."

Gateman noted they also have a Facebook Group 'Weyburn Fire Ladies Night' for those who are hoping to buy or sell individual tickets.

"That has been kind of past practice and what seems to be continuing again this year, if anybody does have any last-minute tables or tickets that come available, you're more than welcome to post them," she explained. "It seems often in life that things happened last minute, and sometimes people who might not have been able to go now can go or vice versa."

Funds raised will go toward the new fire training facility, with a side fundraiser for Isaiah Evans.

"Usually some of the brigade members have a little routine or something, some sort of side entertainment that they do at night so we usually take the funds that are raised just specifically during that little portion and donate it to a certain cause. So that's what we've chosen this year," Gateman noted.

"We learned actually quite recently that Isaiah is a pretty big fan of fire trucks. So we thought that would be a really fitting cause for that. So we're looking forward to seeing what we can generate there."

She said they'll have a 50/50 going on throughout the night, as well as raffles for prizes, and of course, 'Banger Bingo', with patrons encouraged to dress up in line with their favourite genre of music.

"It is completely optional, but we will have prizes for the best-dressed tables, so we are very much looking forward to seeing what everybody has come up with," she added. "We've got a little bit of a different spin on it this year than we have in years past. So we're looking forward to seeing how that plays out and just hoping that everybody has the opportunity to come out and have a great time."

The doors will be opening at 6:00 p.m.. supper is planned for 7:00 p.m. and entertainment begins at 8:30 p.m.
