It was a busy weekend in the Borderline Ladies’ Fastball League, with five games on the go. It was also the second last weekend of action before the year-end playoff tournament which is being held at Nickle Lake July 13th and 14th.

The action started on Saturday, as the Ceylon Devils played host to the Pangman Peaches as part of Park Day celebrations in the community. It would be the Peaches spoiling the day, however, as they picked up an 11-6 victory.

Sunday, there were four games, including a doubleheader between the Devils and the Weyburn Shehawks. The Devils would bounce back from their loss Saturday with a 1-0 victory in the first game of the day. The second game would see the Devils again come out strong, this time winning 10-8.

The White Lightning taking on the Midale Knockouts in Weyburn. It would be a win for the White Lightning, as they routed Midale 22-1.

The final game of the day saw the Fillmore Foxes holding off the Weyburn Queen Bees for an 8-2 victory.

There was one game in the Borderline Men's Fastball League on the weekend, as Ceylon played a home game against Gladmar as part of the Park Day celebrations Saturday. Ceylon would pick up the win, beating the visitors 22-15.
