The dates have been set for the Weyburn Public Library's fall book sale, which will be happening October 19th, 20th, and 21st during regular library hours.

For those who have books and other items to contribute to the sale, Acting Branch Manager Jason Redshaw said those donations can begin rolling in on October 2nd.

"We'll take everything except for school textbooks, encyclopedias and Reader's Digest," he noted.

Rich said it's always something people look forward to in spring and fall.

"It's a huge, huge book sale. We have several tables filled with books. Also too it's a great way to do some early Christmas shopping," he shared. "We're going to have a whole pile of ranges of books available, softcover, hardcover magazines, children's books. You name it, we will have it. There will be a huge DVD collection as well, too, available so it'll be a little bit of something for everyone."

"I've seen people walk out with bags full of paperback books, and [the person] says, 'this will get me through the winter'."

On October 21st, Rich noted they will have a deal for patrons to fill a bag for $5 and a box for $10.

"You're gonna find a lot of hidden gems there, so it's a great time., and bring some friends, because you'll be here for an hour or two going through everything."
