Bouncy houses, Glow Golf, live music and more for Nickle Lake Day this Saturday

Nickle Lake Day is coming up tomorrow at Nickle Lake Regional Park.

"We have free pancake breakfast from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.," invited Park Manager Darren Wheeler.

He said they'll have approximately 20 to 30 cars at the [Soo Line Cruisers] Show and Shine Car Show, and the Nickle Lake Market will feature more than 40 vendors this year.

Safe Rides will be available for those who are enjoying the Beer Gardens, and live music will run all afternoon and into the evening.

As always, there will be plenty for the kids and the whole family to enjoy together.

"We've got three bouncy houses for all the kids, and the kids' activities at the Beaver Den, like face painting and everything else," said Wheeler, adding Glow Gold will go from 9:00 to 11:30 p.m. 

He said volunteers are helping out to get everything ready for the big day. 

"We've got Doyle Larson and Ronalee Larson, they do all the main planning for this one. Then some of the Board of Directors will be there serving pancakes and doing the pancake breakfast and as well as volunteers serving foods."
