With Nickle Lake Day happening this Saturday, the R.M. of Weyburn has installed a radar sign on the road leading from Highway 39 to Nickle Lake, which tracks speed and also counts vehicles. This helpd them learn some valuable information, given that the official vehicle counters only make it out for 24 to 48 hours at a time, once in a while.

"August long weekend is here, and want to remind everyone to drive safe and take the extra time to get to your destination," said the Reeve for the R.M. of Weyburn, Norm McFadden. "We've installed speed signs on the Nickle Lake road as a friendly reminder about the speed limit. Harvest has begun in the area, and we now have that extra traffic on the roads as well. Have a great weekend."

With a speed limit of 60 km/h, it is important data, as well as an important guideline for those using the road, which is made from reclaimed asphalt. Read more HERE.
