Could it be the perfect stocking stuffer? The City of Weyburn announced the coming release of their Winter Wellness Pass for youths aged 17 and under, offering 4 drop-in sessions at leisure facilities for the low price of only $15. With regular drop-in rates at the Credit Union Spark Centre priced at $6 for children and $6.50 for youth, the savings for families looking to stretch their legs or enjoy a dip in the pool over the holidays are immense. Ryan Dale, the city's Leisure Services Coordinator, is excited for the value-packed passes to arrive in time for Christmas.

"They'll get you access to drop-in programming such as Public Swim, The Walking Track, the MNP Play Center, 'Tot' Turf Time. Family Turf Time and the Mini Gym programming," he explained. Dale added that the passes echo the city's commitment to promoting health and wellness in the community through recreation and leisure programming, while helping families stretch their dollar further in the midst of such a demanding season.

"These passes are just an awesome opportunity for you to take advantage of our facilities, as well as give an amazing Christmas gift!"

WellnessPass

Winter Wellness passes will be available for purchase on December 1st and will remain available at the Spark Centre and Weyburn Leisure Centre while supplies last. Passes will be redeemable at both the Credit Union Spark Centre and Leisure Centre beginning December 26th. Dale also mentioned that there is one important thing for drop-in guests to do before redeeming their passes: Check the schedules!

"Please continue to check our online drop-in calendars. These can be found on weyburn.ca under the Parks and Leisure tab as well as by scanning the QR codes at our front desks. We really recommend the public check these calendars before stopping by, especially during the busy months of December and January!"

Some favorites at the Spark Centre, such as the MNP Play Place, can be pre-booked by groups online. Ensuring that you check the calendars before deciding to make the trip down can prevent the disappointment of finding your favorite amenity booked out and unavailable for drop-in access. Additionally, rentals, program registrations and more can be done through the city's website.
