The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce's annual Summer Parade will be happening this Thursday, July 4th at 10:30 a.m.

"It's always such a good time for everybody to come on down," she commented. "We give first and second prizes out to the best floats, there's candy, and sometimes freezies, animals, puppies," said Chamber Office Administrator Ashton Lorieau.

As participants are highly encouraged NOT to throw candy along First Avenue (Highway 13), those hoping for candy should choose their parade spectator spots accordingly.

As the road will be closed from Coteau Avenue to Railway Avenue on Third Street, drivers are asked not to park along this road, as it is set up for a festive atmosphere for the spectators.
