The Weyburn Concert Series has unveiled an exciting lineup for the 2024/25 season. The new season will begin with a spectacular performance by acclaimed country music star George Canyon. Canyon, a multiple award-winner, has earned accolades such as Junos, CCMAs, and ECMAs. 

President, Linda Aitken shares more details on the new season, “We're going to be bringing six concerts in throughout this new season, a variety of genres in music and certainly all very, very top quality and we're really excited about it.” 

Beatles fans won’t want to miss the unique spectacle of, ‘Becoming The Beatles’, “It's a live musical documentary. It has 300 projections, 20 live songs and stories that sort of unveil the journey of how The Beatles got their rise. It's in a very, very exciting one. They're all exciting to us, of course, because we've done the work to get them together, but Becoming The Beatles will be very fun. And Beatles music, like, who does not like Beatles music in this day and age,” added Aitken. 

Theatre enthusiasts can look forward to the extraordinary experience of ‘Every Brilliant Thing’, dubbed the funniest show about depression. 

The season will close with renowned Canadian Country Music artist, Lisa Brokop headlining the show ‘The Patsy Cline Project & Hank Lives.’ Joining her on stage is Paul Jefferson, an accomplished songwriter who has written for various artists including Aaron Tippin and Keith Urban. 

Early bird tickets are now on sale, and they can be purchased at Old Fashion Foods, the Weyburn Review, or any of the Weyburn Concert Series volunteers. Early bird season tickets are $170 for adults and $50 for children/students after June 15, season tickets for adults are $200 for adults or $65 for children/students.
