Now in its third year of operation, Houligan Acres Farm and Petting Zoo is already gearing up for its annual Easter Egg Hunt and once again families can look forward to some hands-on attention with the Houligan Acres fur babies.

Co-owner Amanda Krisa-Houle shares the excitement, “We have the Easter Bunny come out for a visit. We set up an egg hunt for all the kids to participate in and we have all our spring babies around, so we've got baby goats, baby bunnies, chicks, and ducklings and we have some pony rides. It's a really great time.”

The standard cost for regular tickets is $20 per person. However, throughout January, parents can enjoy savings of 50 percent on adult tickets.

“We see our repeat customers coming back early, so we decided to do something so that they could enjoy it a little easier.

Amanda also shared that at the farm they are currently waiting in anticipation because soon the petting zoo will welcome many new babies.

“We call it the Goat Watch. So, we'll be watching the cameras in the barn and making sure we see any signs of labor coming. We've got 10 females due to kid in the middle of February and then the bunnies are due in about 15 days,” added Amanda.
