A new fundraiser for the animal shelter was launched on Friday at Barber Motors in Weyburn. 

With last year's vehicle raffle of a 2023 Ford Bronco raising approximately $100,000 for the Weyburn Humane Society, this year's 'Ride for Paws' fundraiser is sure to be another huge success to help bring the new animal shelter one step closer to opening its doors. 

This year, the WHS board has teamed up with Barber Motors to raffle off a 2024 GMC Terrain valued at $42,019.05.

“Those are $100 per ticket," shared board member Trevor Sealy. "Only 1,000 tickets are available.” 

While the grand prize draw will take place at Barber Motors on August 24th, two early bird prizes will be drawn at the Weyburn Humane Society animal shelter's current building. 

“The first early bird draw is on June 16th and it's $1,000 cash, and the second early bird draw is on July 16th and is $500 cash.” 

Early bird winners will be re-entered as well into the final draw!
